Policies for Private and Group Lessons


Payment

  • Invoice will be sent at the end of every month

  • Payment by Square

  • Any invoices a week or more late will incur a 10% late fee for each subsequent week late

Health

  • All who are attending class or lessons are required to be up to date on vaccinations, following the AAP guidelines. Only allergies to vaccines are an acceptable exemption - please contact Miss Rachel with a pediatrician’s note if that is applicable to you. Absolutely no other exemptions are allowed. 

  • If you’re not feeling well, please use your best judgment to keep everyone safe and do not come to class

  • Full disclosure from Rachel:

    • I and my family are up to date on all vaccinations and boosters that have historically been recommended by the CDC and are currently accepted by the AAP (as of 2024)

    • I follow all health requirements for teaching in a school setting - negative TB test, bloodborne pathogen training, CPR certified​

Policies for Group Lessons only

Payment

  • Invoice will be sent after registration is received

  • Payment by Square

  • Receipt will be sent upon payment for your records

  • Payment must be in full by two days before first class

  • All sales are final. Studio account credit is offered on a case by case basis.

Materials - Mini Mozarts only

  • Families will receive a bag of instruments to use for the session​​

  • Family is responsible for any destroyed or missing contents of the tote - an invoice will be sent if necessary, see below

  • All shared materials will be sanitized after each class

  • Materials for Baby Bachs are shared and sanitized after each class

Instruments

  • If any instruments are missing or irreparably damaged (drum head is broken, rhythm stick is chewed to a point like a beaver got a hold of it, etc), you agree to pay the invoice sent to replace the applicable instruments. The following prices are the retail value from West Music (where they were purchased):

    • ​Full bag - $90.05

    • 1 Scarf - $5.70

    • 1 Egg shaker - $4.95

    • Castanet - $6.95

    • Sleigh bells - $9.95

    • Remo hand drum/mallet - $17.00

    • Rhythm sticks (1 pair) - $6.95

Sick Days/Make-ups

  • One session can roll over into the following session to make up for illness on a case by case basis

Inclement Weather for Outdoor Classes

  • Decisions will be made by 2 hours before the start time and posted on Instagram/FB page

  • If not possible, another date/time will be decided upon by the owner and families

  • If no makeup days are possible, a refund for one class will be given
