Materials

• Notebook for lesson notes are provided
• All books used are to be purchased by the student

Sick Days/Make-ups/Health

• If you’re exhibiting any signs of symptoms, please let me know ASAP and stay home!
• We will move online if either student or teacher is sick but still able to play; link will be emailed approx. 5 minutes before lesson times​
• All students for private lessons must be up to date on all age appropriate vaccinations 
• Studio owner is up to date on all CDC recommended vaccinations

Cancellations

• Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance
• Any cancellations made within 24 hours will be billed at the end of the month

Inclement Weather

• As long as there is internet connection, lessons will move online in the case of inclement weather
• Decisions will be made by 2 hours before the start time and posted on Instagram/FB page/emailed to families

Payment

• Lesson rates for monthly lessons are as follows: $45/30 min; $65/45 min; $85/60 min​
• Sibling discounts are available
• ​An invoice will be sent for the month’s lessons at the end of the month
• Payment via Square (credit card or ACH bank transfer) will be due one week from invoice date
• The first month will include a one time $25 registration fee
• If you use credit card as payment, each month will include a 3.3% additional charge to offset credit card fees that substantially rose starting this year. The ACH bank transfer fee of 1% is still covered by the studio *new for 2024-2025*

Discovery lesson

• First lesson is when we’ll make sure teacher and student are a good fit
• Teacher will provide materials at first lesson and assess student’s level

Termination of lessons

• Notice of ending lessons must be in writing one month from the final lesson date
• Applicable after discovery lesson
